TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Precision machinist

Toolmaking

Precision machinists assemble tools for the automotive industry based on technical requirements and install them at customers’ facilities all over the world. They measure and check mechanical parameters and maintain the machines. Ongoing training is part of their job. Their responsibilities include programming computer-controlled machinery and operating manual milling machines and lathes.

Duration of training: 3,5 years

Cutting machine operator

Using exciting processes, cutting machine operators spend most of their time manufacturing high-precision metal components for technical products of all kinds. They plan the manufacturing process, set up the milling and grinding machines, and write or modify CNC machine programs. Then they clamp the metal parts and tools in the machines, align all the equipment precisely and initiate the work process. They repeatedly inspect the final parts to ensure that the dimensions and surface quality correspond to the requirements. If any errors occur, they determine the cause using appropriate testing procedures and instruments and look immediately for a solution. They also assume responsibility for machine maintenance and inspection and, more importantly, assess mechanical components.

Office administrator

The responsibilities of an office administrator are diverse and varied: from processing invoices and monitoring incoming and outgoing payments, to managing personnel documents and calculating wages and salaries, office administrators assume responsibility for all accounting tasks at our company using cutting-edge office communication.

Bachelor of Engineering

The degree comprises basic engineering principles and subject matter in construction, calculation and manufacturing. In a dual degree course, you combine the Bachelor of Engineering programme of study with vocational training in precision machining with us.

Technician

The Technician certificate is a form of career training. Full-time training takes two years and part-time training four years. Technicians are placed in the Project Management, Calculation and Manufacturing Planning Departments, for example, or assume the role of department or team manager.

Master precision machinist

The Master Precision Machinist certificate is a form of career training. Full-time training takes approximately five to twelve months and part-time training approximately one to two years. Master precision machinists are placed in the Project Management, Calculation and Manufacturing Planning Departments, for example, or assume the role of department or team manager.

CNC programmer

CNC programmers create programs for the automated, program-controlled and exciting manufacture of workpieces. They turn the requirements stipulated in the technical drawings into manufacturing sequences based on the material and milling machines in question and help to address malfunctions

Designer

At Schwarz, designers develop construction solutions and designs. They are involved in the construction of new components and assemblies and develop variations on existing ones.

Pricing manager

Pricing managers calculate the prices for our products and services. This demanding task usually requires master or technician qualification.

Project manager

Project managers oversee our projects from the initial concept to technical and organisational implementation. This demanding task usually requires a master or technician qualification.

 

 

Financial accountant

Financial accountants organise and monitor our accounting activities. They record invoices, manage accounts and review balance sheets and income statements. They also file our tax returns and calculate values such as the trade tax owed and the amount to be paid. They calculate leasing and amortisation rates and assess financing options.

Payroll accountant

Payroll accountants organise, implement and monitor payroll and draw up salary statements for our employees in line with the relevant regulations. They maintain and update the relevant data for calculation as well as wage and salary accounts for all employees and prepare any required certificates and employment papers. They act as contact partners for our employees.


Controller

Controllers analyse our key performance indicators, market data and business results. They ensure transparency in business processes and therefore contribute to increasing the company’s profitability.
